About

I am a law enforcement veteran of 19 years, a teacher, a father of four, and a husband.  I began working in law enforcement in Columbus, GA, before going to work in Harris County Ga.  With 11 years’ experience, I went to work for the state of Georgia teaching police academy.  I currently teach Public Safety at Gilmer High School and Georgia Virtual School for grades 9 through 12.  I have two boys, ages 22 and 12, and two girls, ages 18, and 15.  I received my associate's degree in Fire Science from Chattahoochee Valley Community College, my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Columbus State University, my masters in Adult and Career Education from Valdosta State University, and an education specialist degree in Adult Education from Auburn University.
